My opinion about using Blogs to learn English

I liked this way of learning and practicing English, because I had a lot of fun.
The classes were very interesting and I think that I learned a lot about Blogs.
The only thing I did not like was that we didn't have enough time to finish the activities in the class, but about the Blogs I would not change anything.

PARTS OF SPEECH

We have eight Parts of Speech:
The verb, the noun, the pronoun, the preposition, the adjective, the adverb, the conjunction, and the interjection.

The same word can be a noun in one sentence and a verb or adjective in other sentence.

The Verb: it is the most important part of a sentence. The verbs express actions, events, or states of being.

The Noun: it is a word used to name a person, animal, thing, place, and abstract idea.

The Pronoun: a pronoun can replace a noun or another pronoun. You use pronouns like "he", "which", etc.

The Adjective: an adjective modifies a noun or a pronoun by describing, identifying, or quantifying words.

The Adverb: an adverb can modify a verb, a phrase, or a clause. An Adverb indicates manner, time, place, cause, and answer questions such as "how", "when", etc.

The Preposition: a preposition links nouns, pronouns and phrase to other words in a sentence. The word or phrase that the preposition introduces is called the object of the verb.

The Conjunction: you can use it to link words, phrases, and clauses.

The Interjection: an interjection is a word added to a sentence to convey emotion.

GRAMMAR

1) why is grammar important for an EFL teacher?

Because if I learn grammar I will be able to teach and help students to learn it well. Teaching grammar is explaining rules to students, but if I don`t explain it clearly and have a bad spelling, it will be imposible to help the students, and they will feel so confused. If I want to be a good teacher I have to learn a good grammar.

comment about tic-tac-toe games

Hello again,
I do agree that tic-tac-toe games are a fun way to teach English. Usually students like to play tic-tac-toe, so if we can teach the class with these games, the students will feel more interested in the class because they are learning and having fun.
Other fun way to teach conditionals could be with puzzles. I give the puzzles with a lot of sentences about conditionals and the students have to find the conditionals and circle them. The student who finishes first will be the winner.

I like the conditionals very much. I think they are very interesting.
Conditionals help us to learn grammar which is very important for all of us. I think the easier conditionals are the zero conditional and the first conditional, because when we speak we use them a lot. I had 90% right and 10% wrong.

Explanation about conditionals

Zero conditional: if + simple present + simple present.
Example: If I eat a lot of chocolate, I feel sick.

First conditional: If + Simple present + will/won`t
Example: If I get sick, my mother will be nervous.

Second conditional: If + past simple + would.
Example: If I had a big house I would be happy.

Third conditional: If + past perfect + would have + past participle.
Example: If I had tried harder, I would have won the game.
